This question was attempted by few candidates and their performance in it was fair. Some of the candidates could not draw the sketch map of the Nile Valley showing the farming areas and the products obtained from the areas. However, they performed better in part (b) where they outlined the ways in   which the River Nile is of economic importance to Egypt and the Sudan.
