The paper was of good standard and compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were straightforward and were within the scope of the syllabus. The marks were equitably distributed and the rubrics were clearly stated. The marking scheme was clear and very comprehensive.          

The performance of the candidates was very poor and fell below those of the previous years.
