The strengths of the candidates were found with question 3, 4, 7 and 8. Question 3 on latitude and longitude was attempted by many of the candidates and they were able to show the main differences between the two  concepts. The part of the question requiring calculation on time was well handled by most of the candidate's who answered the question.
Many of the candidates who answered question four also illustrated their answers with good diagrams.
