The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were framed in simple language and none of them was ambiguous. The questions were within the scope of the content of the syllabus and the selected questions covered most aspects of the syllabus. The marking scheme was comprehensive and the rubrics were clearly stated. The performance of the candidates was poor and lower than those of the previous years.
