The major weakness of the candidates was that majority of them could not interpret the questions correctly which may be due to their lack of knowledge of the subject. Many candidates were unable to express themselves especially in question that require explanation or definition of terms.
Majority of the candidates failed to state the test for proofing frying pan and definition of the cookery terms.

REMEDY TO OVERCOME THE WEAKNESSES
- Candidates need to comprehend and have through knowledge of the subject to enable them interpret the questions correctly.
- Candidates should make efforts to have textbooks and make use of their textbook and notebooks.
- Teachers shoukd involve their student more in practical lessons.
- Teachers should also teach their students the art of answering questions.
