Summary is still a big problem to the candidates. Instead of summarizing, many of them engage in wholesale lifting of the points and lose a lot of marks. The candidates have to understand the set passage before they can summarize using their own words. Teachers should encourage their students to build up their vocabulary and also teach them how to tackle summary questions.
