  1. Connect the circuit as shown in figure 2.
  2. Ask the supervisor to check the circuit connection.
  3. Copy table 2  into your answer booklet.
  4. Close switch S.
  5. Measure and record the currents I1, I2, and I3 in table 2.
  6. Complete table 2 with the results obtained in (e).
  7. Open switch S.
  8. Compare the values of currents I1 + I2 with I3, and comment on the results.

State the circuit law which verifies experiment 2.

OBSERVATION

This question was similar to the first one.  Here, currents were measured and the results were used to obtain the combined current for necessary comparison as required for the verification of Kirchoff’s Current Law (KCL).
The performance of the candidates portrayed non-conversant with the connected circuit.
