The paper was of a high, standard. Questions were clearly set and drawn from a wide range of topics from the syllabus. No question was identified as being drawn from outside the syllabus.
The rubrics were clearly stated and the marking scheme comprehensive enough. Candidates’ performance was generally good although it was noted that most of them made their choice of questions between question (1) and (9). The overall performance of candidates was better than that of the previous year.
