(1) Candidates performed very well in questions which required ‘listing’ ‘stating’ and ‘naming’ eg. They could state characteristics of supermarkets and department stores very well.
(2) Candidates answered very well those questions that asked for ‘functions’ e.g they were able to state the functions of wholesalers and manufacturers in Q1a and functions of advertising in Q10a.
(3) The few candidates that attempted question 6 performed better in the calculations in this examination.
