            (b)       In what two ways did his conversion affected the spread of the:

observation

The candidates were to describe Paul's activities in Damascus and Jerusalem after his conversion and say how Paul’s  conversion affected the spread of the gospel.
This was not a popular question among the candidates as many of them wrote off the point. They started from Paul's conversion and stopped where they ought to have started answering the question.
They failed to mention that:

(i) Paul proclaimed Jesus as son of God.

(ii) Paul was able to convince the Jews who lived in Damascus that Jesus was the Christ

(iii) That missionary activities could be carried out without fear.
Again some of them could not bring out the effects of his conversion on the spread of the gospel.  Paul's conversion brought the gospel to the gentile nation and the disciples were able to preach the gospel in Jewish cities etc.
