This question was not popular among the candidates. A few of them that attempted it scored low marks because they could not reinforce their points with James' teaching on faith and works. Those who could have gained more marks missed out important points like: the mirror analogy, the perfect  law of God, the control of tongue, what constitutes true religion with reference to Abraham's faith and that of  Rehab. But in the 'b' part, that they were to give ways in which a Christian can keep his faith alive. They Were able to give good points that fetched them some marks.
