The candidates performed poorly in the following areas:
- drawing of poor diagrams with wooly and broken lines and free-hand guidelines
- not giving titles to diagram;
- had problems giving correct definitions;
- stating functions of organs or structures;
- could not properly draw the female reproductive system;
- performed poorly in questions on genetics.
The following Remedies were proffered to solve these Weaknesses:
- schools should provide teaching aids and models to help pupils understand biological concepts like genetics;
- teachers should ensure that they complete the syllabus before the end of the school session;
- teachers should teach students the rules guiding drawing of biological , diagrams
