The candidates had difficulty in attempting questions on modern Arabic Literature.  This could be due to non-study or non-availability of the texts. Candidates had problem in spelling and grammatical expressions, they also found it difficult to express themselves fluently in Arabic language.

   - making the texts available in the market and in the library for students’
    employing qualified teachers who can handle both language and
    literature aspects of the paper;

   -engaging the students by giving them take home assignments regularly to make them more committed     to their studies.
