The standard of the paper was reported good and compared favourably with those of the previous years. The paper enjoyed good coverage of the syllabus. The marking scheme was broad and clear without any
ambiguity.
The performances of the candidates were poor compared with those of the previous years.
Questions 1 and 2 were deficient in the way of print marked with some circuit diagrams' mutilation, which took a toll in the popularity of the questions among the candidates. Administrative measures were taken to ensure that the candidates that attempted the questions were not at any disadvantage.
