There was no remarkable area of strengths exhibited by the candidates. However, candidates were able to

• understand the concepts tested by the experiment to determine the physical/mechanical composition of soil/particle sizes/soil texture;
• Identify the most destructive developmental stage of the illustrated  insect pest and give reasons
• state ways of controlling the pest illustrated in the diagram;
• state ways by which the pest is of economic importance in agriculture;
• list the carbohydrate, protein and mineral ingredients given the composition of poultry feeds;
• state ways of preventing feed wastage in poultry
